If you love looking for second-hand treasures, we’ve got just the event for you. The eighth annual Great Grandview Garage Sale is set to transform Vancouver’s Grandview-Woodland neighbourhood into a bargain-hunters paradise, and you won’t have long to wait to check it out for yourself!
As the largest garage sale event in the city, the annual community-wide event has seen over 200 sales in previous years, with residents setting up in their yards, alleys, and driveways for an exciting day of perusing.
From vinyl records and books to herbs for your garden, there will be plenty to check out on the day of the sale. So be sure to bring cash and plenty of bags/boxes for transporting your new treasures!

According to organizers, the sale started in 2000 as a way to bring together quarrelling residents, and has since become a beloved tradition in East Vancouver.
