Another globally-recognized company is setting up shop in Canada, starting with a hub in Toronto. Globant’s Toronto office will join the many existing ones in 19 countries worldwide.
Globant is a software development company that “helps organizations reinvent themselves to create a way forward and unleash their potential,” according to its website.
There are currently over 24,500 employees (a.k.a. Globers) around the world, with 200 more professionals based out of the new Toronto hub.

When it comes to employee perks and benefits, Globant has many of them.
In addition to health insurance for Globers and their families, wellness programs, in-office yoga, and fitness, Globant also offers personal care services like manicures and hairdressers.
The company strives to give employees an ideal work-life balance, according to its website. Photos shared by the company on social media show in-office amenities like a bar, arcade, dreamy lounge areas, and more.
Globant even organizes trips abroad to allow staff from around the world to meet each other, like ski trips to Lake Tahoe, surf excursions in Goa, and an event called “Globant Palooza.”

The company says it plans to invest over $20 million USD in Canada over the next three years and will staff up its Toronto office over the same time period.
