If you’re on the job hunt and love building games, there are a handful of gaming companies hiring in Vancouver right now that might just have the role you’re looking for. Whether you work in engineering, animation, or marketing – there are plenty of options worth checking out. So let’s dive in!
Imagine getting to work for the same company behind games such as Fortnite and Infinity Blade! Epic Games is currently hiring for 35 open roles based in Vancouver, including Character Concept Outsource Lead, Global Digital Merchandising Manager, Lead Gameplay Programmer, Level Designer, Senior Full Stack Web Developer, and much more.
Employee benefits include 100% health care coverage, including medical, dental, and vision care, free therapy and coaching, and unlimited PTO and sick leave.
With five Vancouver-based roles in software engineering, Demonware is behind some of the biggest game titles in the world, including Call of Duty and Skylanders. If you love the behind-the-scenes of the gaming world, the company creates the online services and tools that make these games accessible!
Benefits at Demonware include a ‘generous’ vacation/holiday allowance, full medical coverage for employees and their families, performance-related grants, and free swag and games.
And now, for a major name in the game – no pun intended. EA is currently hiring for over 200 roles in Vancouver across a ton of departments, including software development, art, experience design, game design, and product management. And a lot of jobs are remote! So if you’ve ever wanted to work for the folks behind the FIFA Series or The Sims franchise, now’s your chance.
EA employees enjoy flexible work models, holistic health coverage, paid caregiver leave, bonuses and stock options, and perks like game credits and console reimbursements.
And that’s a wrap on some gaming companies hiring in Vancouver right now. Best of luck, job seekers!
