Great news, New West! The beloved block party series, Fridays on the Front, is making its grand return after two years. Time to get the good times rolling, and the craft beer (& wine) flowing.
Presented by the Downtown New West BIA and Douglas College, Fridays on the Front will be held every Friday from July 8th to August 19th, with the exception of Friday, July 29th. Each block party will go from 5 pm to 9 pm. Now, let’s dive into the deets.
Folks can expect live entertainment and music curated by Bully’s Studios and U.C.A.S.S., featuring performances by a variety of local artists. Some names to look out for include Persian powerhouse Tissa Rahim, producer & DJ Sam Chimes, and funk/soul legends, The Unified.
Also slated to attend are several Vancouver faves by way of food & drink spots, including a special lineup for New West Pride Week on Friday, August 12th. Expect cold brews from Brewhall and Pacific Breeze Winery, and delicious plant-based eats from Veg Out, egg sammies & grilled sandwiches from Crack On, and frozen treats from Crema.
