Here’s how to get free skate and helmet rentals at Toronto rinks in December

Planning to hit the ice this winter? The City of Toronto has a lending library where you can get free skate rentals and equipment!

The mobile lending library is actually a van that visits various public outdoor rinks every weekend throughout the season, providing rentals to locals of all ages.

No reservation is required. All you have to do is check the schedule to find out where the lending library will be stationed, and show up for your rentals.

The available equipment includes skates, helmets, and skating aids. There are many different sizes available, so you are likely to find the right fit for you.
