The CNE is putting on a new Vegas-style fountain show this summer

It’s almost that time again! Toronto’s beloved late-summer carnival is making a comeback, and this year, visitors will be treated to an all-new fountain show at the CNE.

The high-energy display is called Sparkling Symphony and it will light up the waterfront every day of the CNE.

The fountain show is described as “a daily choreographed spectacle on Lake Ontario that will combine high-energy music with 11 dancing fountains,” the CNE said in a press release.

The fountains can sprout 100 feet in the air! Plus, colour-changing lights and lasers will illuminate the show at night.

Also making a return for the first time since 2018 is the CNE skating show, which will take place twice daily in the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

The indoor skating show will star Canadian champion Elvis Stojko and friends.

Global entertainers from around the world will delight audiences at the Exhibition Place this summer, including Swiss acrobatics group Konterschwung.

Foodies can look forward to another year of over-the-top carnival eats!

According to the CNE, the “out-of-the-ordinary gastronomic creations that the CNE is renowned for” will be returning, along with classic fair staples like Tiny Toms doughnuts and the mouthwatering Food Truck Frenzy.

Live music and entertainment will be performed across seven stages, and of course, the fair will be filled with rides and games galore!

The new fountain show at the CNE is sure to impress, and we can’t wait to see what it’s all about.
