This historic township in BC is getting a cranberry festival this fall

Love a small-town festival? Fort Langley, British Columbia has tons of celebrated annual traditions, including a fall cranberry festival that you won’t want to miss.

Attracting nearly 35,000 people every year, the beloved grassroots festival celebrates the cranberry’s role in the region’s local history, which according to the Fort Langley Project, dates back thousands of years!

The festival started in 1995 to celebrate the annual harvest in Fort Langley, and has since continued to grow in size and attendance.

Visitors get to peruse local vendors and businesses as they indulge in fall-themed treats and activities.

The 29th Annual Cranberry Festival will take place on October 12th this year, so mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details as they come, including vendor and market info!
