Jasper National Park to get its first new hotel in 40 years & you can stay there this spring

Big, beautiful news, staycationers! 40 years in the making, Alberta-born company, Pursuit, has announced that their newest destination, the Jasper Forest Park Hotel will be open to guests this upcoming June – just in time for the sunny season.

Located just outside of the beloved mountain town, this wilderness-inspired retreat is nestled in the mountains among trees, animals and wildflowers, making for a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

“Jasper is an incredibly beautiful place, visited by guests from around the globe,” said Chief Operating Officer, Banff Jasper Collection by Pursuit, Stu Back, in a press release.

“The soon-to-be-completed Forest Park Hotel featuring contemporary, nature-inspired design will provide guests with a relaxing escape when visiting such a beloved Canadian national park.”

Designed by local company DIALOG (the folks behind the Calgary Public Library), this new hotel will have over 88 rooms, expanded patios with stunning views, as well as a pavilion with vaulted ceilings and a show-stopping fireplace.

“Our reveal of the Forest Park Hotel is the culmination of several years of thoughtful design and development work to realize our vision for this expansive property as a modern resort destination, equally attractive to both regional and international guests,” said David Barry, President, Pursuit.
