These Seattle hotels & spas are 2025 Forbes Travel Guide Star Award Winners

The Forbes Travel Guide has unveiled its 2025 Star Award Winners, featuring the world’s most luxurious hotels, restaurants and spas. In the 67th annual list, six Seattle hotels and a spa have earned their stars.

The independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and cruise ships, released this year’s winners on Wednesday, Feb. 12. It’s the hospitality industry’s most prestigious achievement, and only a few thousand locations in the world make the cut.

Forbes Travel Guide methodology

According to the travel guide, highly trained inspectors visit every property that is rated. They are then evaluated based on up to 900 standards. “While we assess both service and facility, our system emphasizes service, because exceptional service is what sets the best hospitality experiences apart,” shares organizers.

“The standards cover every touchpoint of the guest experience, from making a reservation through departure – encompassing topics including cleanliness, efficiency, staff knowledge, gracious service, sense of luxury, guest comfort and more.”

In order to ensure authenticity, all the inspectors are anonymous and have the same experience as any typical guest.

Only a handful of Seattle’s most luxurious experiences were added to the list. Three were awarded four stars, with another three added to their recommended list.

4 Stars

A Four-Star rating is given to “exceptional properties, offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match.”

Recommended

A recommended rating is given for “excellent properties with consistently good service and facilities.”

Will you be booking a visit to one of these hotels/spa, Seattle?

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
