You can invest as low as $1 with Canada’s easiest new investment app

Have you ever thought to yourself “I want to begin investing, but I don’t know where to start”? You may think investing requires a ton of knowledge and money, but there’s a new Canadian investment app that tackles both those problems wonderfully, making investing easier and more affordable than ever. Enter Flahmingo!

The Calgary-born fintech company is soon launching its fractional investment app, touted to make investing, as they say, “flock’n easy” (Flahmingo, get it?).

So, how exactly are they making it easy? Well, first off, they are letting you invest for as little as $1. Yes, seriously! Because Flahmingo is a fractional investment app, you don’t need to buy one whole share. You can buy whatever percentage of a share you can with the money you wish to invest.

Second off, they’re making it easier than ever to automate and track investments with their Pies and Slices model, a first in the Canadian investment market. What this means is that you’ll see your entire investment portfolio as a pie, and each company you invest in is a slice of that pie. You can allocate percentages to each slice, and Flahmingo will automatically invest your funds in the respective companies.

You can have a maximum of 10 pies on your app and each of these can have 100 slices. Talk about making investing as easy as pie, eh?

Third off, Flahmingo believes in and promotes empowered investing. They want people of all financial calibres to be able to invest and manage their funds. You’ll also find an education hub on the app, Flahmingo Central. This is where you can learn about investing with easy-to-consume, bite-sized videos.

The cherry on the cake- there is no commission fee (wait… what?!). Flahmingo is commission-free so you can invest without worrying about extra fees.

It’s no wonder that even before its launch, the app has been garnering a lot of attention. The company has already raised $1.88 million in its pre-seed round with many tech and finance sharks on their investor list.

Now, if you’re as eager to be a part of this empowered community as we are, drop your email address here to be on their waitlist. If only all things in life came this easy!
