This Ontario town is turning one of its streets into a snow tube run

You’ve never experienced a tube run like this before! Fire and Ice Festival is returning to Bracebridge this January, along with its famous downtown tube run enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

The festival will kick off on January 27th and incorporates both fire and ice elements into its schedule, hence the name Fire and Ice.

This year, that means fireworks, fire pits, and fire demonstrations, as well as ice skating, ice sculptures, and ice cream!

There will be activities held at locations all over town, including life-sized games, an interactive drum circle, campfires, outdoor skating in the winter village, and much more.

Visitors can also look forward to a stacked lineup of performances and live shows, including buskers, singers, fire demonstrations, The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show, and a dazzling fireworks show at 6 PM.

And of course, there will be no shortage of food and drinks to enjoy, like hot dogs, hot chocolate, a pancake breakfast, and a whole lot more.

However, the main attraction is definitely the downtown tube run, which will be open all day long on from Mary Street to Taylor Road.

The street will be closed to traffic and will transform into a tube slide right in the heart of downtown.

Visitors of all ages are welcome to stop by and enjoy this annual event. Admission is just $10 per person and includes access to the tube run and they go on sale on December 20th.

It’s time to embrace the winter season, Ontario! This festival is just one great way to make the most of it.
