Who’s ready to learn more about the many diverse cultures that make up the continent of Africa? This spring, the Issamba Centre of the African Art & Cultural Society is bringing a vibrant celebration to Metro Vancouver in honour of Africa Day called Festival Afri’Ca.
The multi-day event promises to showcase the richness of their collective heritage, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about each participating country and organization.
Although details are scarce for Metro Vancouver’s festival, if previous events are any indication, we’re in for a mix of live music and cultural performances, craft vendors, and traditional eats.

The massive fest will take place at Surrey Civic Plaza from 11 am to 7 pm on May 24th, 25th, and 26th. So mark your calendars and get excited for all things Africa Day!
