This 22-metre waterfall is a hidden gem within an Ontario conservation area

Imagine waking up every morning and having the luxury of knowing you have a waterfall right in your backyard. Felker’s Falls in Hamilton is a stunning display of Ontario’s natural wonders and one that you definitely need to explore.

Located within Felker’s Falls Conservation Area is an impressive 22-metre-tall ribbon waterfall right in the neighbourhood of Stoney Creek.

According to Tourism Hamilton, in order to access these falls, visitors must take the conservation area’s East Mountain Trail Loop.

Those who take the trail can also see more than one waterfall such as Albion Falls, Buttermilk Falls, and Glendale Falls. Overall, it should take you about an hour to take the loop.

Per Tourism Hamilton, to get to the top and the accessible trail, you should park on Ackland Street. That’s where you will walk across the field and behind the wooden fence to access the waterfall.

And luckily for you, you can see these falls for free. You can explore Felker’s Falls and all the other waterfalls in the surrounding areas in any season.
