Here are some exciting fairs popping up in and around Edmonton

With the weather warming up, it’s finally carnival season in Edmonton.

If you’re familiar with the travelling fairs all about Alberta, you’ll know they pop up only once or twice a year. This means it’s of the utmost importance that you know which ones are coming and when. That’s exactly why we’re here, and why we’ve rounded up the best upcoming carnivals and fairs coming to the Edmonton area.

Let’s get into all the fair fun possible, folks.

Millwoods May-Long Magical Midway

Wild Rose Shows will be showing off all their carnival rides next weekend at the Millwoods Town Centre. This will be one of the earliest fairs of the year, so if you’re looking for excitement early, this is your best bet!

Time: Various times
Where: Millwoods Town Centre — 2331 66th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Londonderry Mall Carnival

The next Wild Rose show will be at Londonderry Mall the following weekend. Here, you can hop aboard one of the many rides they have, compete in carnival games, and even get a snack that never tastes better than at the fair.

Time: Various times
Where: Londonderry Mall Winners — 6806 137th Ave., Edmonton, Alta.

Rainmaker

Rainmaker Rodeo is our personal favourite of the local fairs, but maybe that’s because it’s run by the St. Albert Kinsmen — and we just like supporting local.

Yup, you heard us right the first time, it’s a rodeo. Complete with huge rides, great eats, and shows being put on basically the whole time, you won’t ever get bored at the Rainmaker.

When: Friday, May 22, 2026, to Sunday, May 24, 2026
Time: Various times
Where: 47 Riel Dr., St. Albert, Alta.
Cost: $23.81+

Travelling Amusement Park at Bonnie Doon Centre

With rides, games, and sweet treats coming to Edmonton, we couldn’t be more excited. We have to say, if you’re looking for the best ride experience, this might be the fair to look out for. It has awesome kids’ rides and even bigger and better ones for adults, so you won’t miss out on any of the fun.
