Canada’s largest natural hot springs are in BC & they’re surrounded by mountain scenery

If you’re in need of some R&R this fall, it’s worth a road trip to the scenic Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia, AKA the largest natural mineral hot springs in all of Canada.

Surrounded by scenic mountain vistas as far as the eye can see, the charming resort town of Fairmont Hot Springs is a fantastic place to visit year-round, but the colder months make for an especially rewarding escape.

With a daily flow of over 1.2 million gallons of fresh mineral water, the impressive hot springs consist of a large soaking pool (39°C), swimming pool (32°C), and dive pool (30°C) – all of which are suitable for all ages!

Visitors can wade through naturally heated pools with odorless water, or opt for a luxurious stay at the resort and access to the guest-only pool.

Hours & rates

The hot spring pools are open to the public every day from 8 am to 9 pm for the season, with single entry priced at $17 per adult. Families can take advantage of their two adults + two children admission, which is priced at $55.

Day passes are $25 per person or $77 for families.

So there you have it, BC! A day or weekend of self-care is well worth the trek.
