Challenge yourself to one of these exhilarating escape rooms in Edmonton

Looking for a challenge? We’ve got you covered.

Edmonton has a plethora of escape rooms, all the way from north to south. The question is, which of these many escape rooms is the best? We’ve got the answers for you, with a variety of different escape rooms and recommendations for your pleasure.

If you’re ready to crack the code, let’s dive right in.

Escape City

At this spot, these aren’t just escape rooms… these rooms are a whole other dimension. With fantastic immersive challenges ranging from beginner-friendly to the most experienced puzzlers, these rooms are easily some of the best in the city.

For this spot, our room recommendation has to be Mindmaster Industries, the elusive experiment.

Where: 5916 104th St.NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $30+

GTFO Escape Entertainment

Located in Downtown Edmonton, GTFO has a variety of different rooms with excellent puzzles. These puzzles are skillfully crafted, and the lobby has puzzles and games while you wait for your room to be ready too.

Visiting Hour is the spookiest escape room I’ve personally been to, and it’s the first one I recommend to players looking for a challenge.

Where: 10018 105th St. NW #2F, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $30+

Trapped

This premier escape room has locations all across the country. With the rooms being the way they are, it’s safe to say why. Not only do they feature excellent atmospheric charm, but the challenges will get your brain gears turning.

Midnight Arcade has great puzzles we’d recommend, with an exciting room concept.

Where: 8944 Whyte Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $25+

Escape Hour

This escape room is a little tricky to find after the Edmonton City Centre closes, but it’s worth it. Some of the most challenging physical and mental puzzles can be found at this place.

I will never forget (just barely) escaping the Five Lives room; it was a workout for both the brain and body.

Where: 102A Ave. NW #326, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $27.50+

Time Escape North Edmonton

Time Escape has just recently opened a South Edmonton location, but we recommend its original North Edmonton spot for the best experience.

Funnily enough, Time Warp is one of the best at Time Escape— who would’ve thunk.

Where: 10939 120th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $35
