Edmonton Public Library is holding a book sale with prices starting at $1

Calling all bookworms! You won’t want to miss this upcoming sale in Edmonton.

The Edmonton Public Library is once again holding a Books2Buy event, a sale where community members can pick out books, movies, and audiobooks to take home for their own collection. Here, you can find great reads, amazing finds, and so many things you didn’t even know the library had.

This March, you can expect another Books2Buy sale coming to Stanley A. Milner Library in Edmonton’s downtown core.

From March 6 to 8, there will be a variety of items for sale, so let’s get into the pricing.

Paperbacks, kids’ books, CDs, and audiobooks will be $1. Hardcover books, DVDs, and video games will be $3, while DVD sets and TV series are $4. If you’re looking at any special items, those will be individually priced.

The library recommends bringing your own bag or box to take books home, especially if you’re looking for a bunch. Limited quantities of bags are available for purchase at the sale, so you might as well save yourself the trouble.

On Sunday, there will be a box sale. This means that whatever you can fit into the provided box, as long as it closes at the point of sale, will cost you only $10.

This sale accepts cash, credit and debit, so there’s no worry about payment.

In addition to being a community-led event, all Books2Buy sales are completely volunteer-run! If you’re interested in joining in, you might want to visit the Edmonton Public Library’s Volunteer page online.

Get ready to sprint to your favourite novel, because this hot sale is sure to be bustling.
