Calgary, we hope you have an appetite because something big is coming! This September, get your fill of fruits, veggies and fun at this year’s Vegfest, an annual celebration of plant-based goodies and local businesses!
With over 15,000 guests in 2019, this good and good-for-you festival will feature everything and everyone from restaurant owners, vendors, musicians, performers and speakers!
This year will also have a kid’s activity zone so you can bring your littles along for a day of fun and is totally dog friendly – but even that isn’t the best part.

Before or after wandering the many booths, sinking your teeth into dishes from Calgary’s best (Empanada Queen, 8 Cakes and Family Dough just to name a few) and getting an earful of pleasantries guests can also catch a family-friendly drag show in the beer gardens in honour of YYC Pride Week!
Oh, and while there, why not grab a glass of Cold Gardens Taste the Rainbow Beer, $1 of which will be donated to the organization – because this event is also about giving back!
In addition to Pride, Veg Fest will also be accepting donations for next year’s event and will give exposure to other non-for-profits such as Calgary Humane Society, C.A.R.E and many more!
