Elton John just bought a condo in Toronto & here’s what it looks like

Our city will soon have another famous resident. Sir Elton John himself just purchased a condo on King Street West in Toronto with his Canadian husband David Furnish and their two sons, reports the Globe & Mail.

And this isn’t your typical glass box in the sky, either. In true Elton fashion, the two-floor penthouse unit has a real tree growing inside of it, according to the article.

The star will be moving into the Treehouse penthouse located in the anticipated KING Toronto tower, a sprawling futuristic building with luxury units stacked on top of each other.

Elton and his family will have four terraces overlooking the city and will be steps from all of the dining and entertainment on King St West. You might just bump into them sometime!

This condo will reportedly be their sixth home. Given how much time Elton spends with Furnish and their family in Canada, a home in Toronto just made sense.

“The main reason I’m coming off the road is to spend more time with my family,” said Elton to the Globe.

“David’s brothers and their wives and children are here. We spend a lot of the summer in Canada.”

‘In England we live in Windsor, so the boys find Toronto dynamic,” said Furnish.

The family will be living well at their new property, however, it is still under construction and won’t be complete until summer 2023.

We’re definitely looking forward to having some more Elton in our lives pretty soon!
