The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) has an excellent slate of concerts coming up, and we’ve got the most exciting ones right here just for you. Whether it’s something for the kids, something to celebrate the Halloween spirit, or just something for yourself, the ESO puts on jaw-dropping performances no matter the theme.
This classic orchestra fairy tale tells the story of a young boy who confronts a menacing wolf with the help of his animal friends. Peter and the Wolf is part of Symphony for Kids, a series of concerts designed to introduce children to orchestral music, featuring family-friendly activities in the lobby before the concert.

In this ESO concert, they will explore music from the works of Whitney, Elton, Gladys, Michael, Diana, Prince, Tina, Elvis, Stevie, The Beatles, and more.

Part of the ESO Classics series is Adventures in Italy. Get taken through the most memorable orchestral pieces, with the focus being on Italy and music spanning centuries.

You can get the chance to hear your favourite movie scores live at this performance of Superheroes and Blockbusters. From Mission: Impossible to The Batman, this special concert will transport you right into the movies.

This Christmas tradition returns for another year, with this sacred work composed in 1741 putting you right in the holiday mood. Featuring Chorus Inspira, the concert will burst with glorious choral sections, including the famous “Hallelujah” chorus.
