Eat, drink & enjoy live music at this magical Alberta festival 7,400 feet above the ground

Music, sunsets, beer and BBQ? This summer, you’ll find all of this and more 7,400 ft up the side of Sulphur Mountain during the Banff Gondola Annual Sunset Festival, which is on now until early September!

Between the hours of 5:30 and 9:30 pm, those willing to conquer their fear of heights can enjoy everything from tasty craft drinks to an unreal Canadian Inspired menu sauce, meat and whisky, in addition to performances by rhythmic dancers and music by local artists.

Now, while this would be more than enough for any sane person to head to the mountain town this season – the festival is really all about the view!

Next to firepits and other laid-back Albertans, guests are encouraged to stick around to watch the sun go down over the peaks and valleys of the Rockies.

Guys, we’re not messing around when we say that this is one of those things that has to be seen at least by everyone from Lethbridge to Grande Prairie at least once in their lives, so don’t miss it!

It’s going to be spectacular!
