Ready to sweat in the sun a little bit? Well, it’s about to get a lot more convenient, because Granville Island Brewing has taken the initiative and rounded up some of the best fitness studios in the city for a weekend of outdoor sessions. Here’s what to know about this interesting idea.
In a somewhat surprising spin, Sweat with Granville Island Brewing is actually being organized to celebrate the launch of a new beer. Called the California Common Steam Lager, GIB thinks that it’s the perfect way to cap off a little outside workout.

Over the weekend, a variety of Vancouver fitness studios will be hosting hour-long workouts. The lineup focuses on yoga classes and interval training, so think simple, easy-to-follow instructions. It should be noted that customers will need to bring their own yoga mats, water bottles and towels to use.
At $20, the tickets include the workout itself, a can of the new California Common lager, a swag bag with goodies, and ‘much more’. According to GIB, the $20 actually gets you around $100 of products and services, which is a solid deal.
