An outdoor movie pop-up series is coming to Toronto next month

You moviegoers are going to love this one! Toronto’s getting a month-long drive-in movie pop-up next month and you can catch some of the best movies under the stars, all for some great causes. Here’s what you need to know.

Get tickets to “Drive-In Downsview: A Pop-Up Film Experience in The Hangar District,” starting May 6th and every weekend for the entire month. Gather up your group of friends, a date, or your entire family for an evening of movie theatre fun. Whether you decide to watch the movie from the comfort of your own car or on your own lawn chair, that’s up to you!

In addition to the great film lineup, the movie pop-up drive-in event offers free snacks too!

According to organizers, admission is by donation and all funds go directly to local charities then matched by Northcrest Developments. Each movie is presented with a different community partner, too.

SMOKE SIGNALS

When: Saturday, May 13, 8:30 PM

HONEY

When: Sunday, May 21, 8:30 PM

PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH

When: Sunday, May 28, 8:30 PM

Make sure to get your tickets ASAP as advanced registration is required. Gates open right at 7:30 PM, giving you enough time to park your car or your seat to catch the flick.
