Travel, sip, get paid: A Jazz bar in the UK is looking for a pro ‘cocktail tester’ & Canadians can apply

Are you a cocktail connoisseur with the travel bug?  Dust off your resume, pack your bags and don’t forget the Advil because a popular jazz bar and restaurant in the UK is currently looking for someone to fill a dream job as their ‘professional cocktail tester.’

Open to qualified locals and Canadians alike, the perfect candidate is described as having a ‘refined palette for the perfect summer drink,’ with experience in drinking and mixology.

Of course, it’s not all sips and straws!

In addition to enjoying the summer sun and getting paid £12 per hour or £28k per year ($20 or $46,970 CAD) whoever gets the role will also have to take notes and create a development log during their time at Green Park Brasserie in Bath, England, where they’ll be stationed.

“Working with our team you’ll be keen to push the boundaries of cocktail making and have a creative vision for producing a menu with a difference that can support our existing cocktail menu,” they write.

“If you know your Mimosas from your Martinis, we’d love to hear from you.”

Interested? According to Green Park, applicants must be at least 18 years old and will have to explain why they’re the ideal candidate.
