Disney is holding auditions in Toronto this month and here’s what to know

Performers – a dream job is on the horizon. If you’ve always wanted to work for a company as well-known as Disney, then you’ll be excited to know that not only are they holding a casting call with auditions in Toronto, but it’s for their cruise line. Yep, you can travel the world while working a job you love. You in?

Here’s what to know.

According to the Disney career page, the auditions will be held over two days: Sept. 22 and 23, 2025.

Let’s start with the Sept. 22 casting call for dancers. The auditions begin at 10 a.m. sharp, with check-in between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m.

“Seeking a diverse range of performers to bring Disney’s fleet of ships to life,” shares Disney.

Those auditioning must be trained in ballet and jazz with some tumbling and tap, and must be at least 18 years old. “A typical contract includes up to 8 weeks of rehearsal and 6 months onboard. Contracts also include competitive pay, travel, room and board, a significant contract completion bonus, and some guest dining privileges,” according to the casting call.

The Sept. 23 casting call is a little different, in search of Disney character look-alikes and Disney character performers. Like the day before, the auditions begin at 10 a.m., with check-in between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m.

Some of the characters that need to be covered include:

  • Female-presenting: Anna, Ariel, Belle, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Cinderella, Cruella, Elsa, Gamora, Maleficent, Merida, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Ms. Marvel, Okoye, Princess Jasmine, Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Rey, Snow White, Shuri, Wasp
  • Male-Presenting: Ant-Man, Aladdin, Black Panther, Bruno, Captain America, Captain Jack Sparrow, Dr. Facilier, Doctor Strange, Flynn Rider, Hawkeye, Hiro, Kristoff, Loki, Peter Pan, Prince Charming, Prince Naveen, Shang-Chi, Star-Lord, Oaken, Spider-Man, Thor

Both audition days will be held at Studio North on Dupont Street in Toronto.

It’s very important to note that in order to audition, you need to make a Disney Careers profile beforehand and have an up-to-date resume.

Can you think of anything cooler than exploring the world with Disney, performing, and getting paid for it?!

Get that audition and resume ready, and good luck.
