There are patio igloos to enjoy this winter in these Ontario towns

It doesn’t get much more Canadian than dining inside of an igloo!

If you’re looking for something truly unique to do this winter look no further than the beloved Apple Pie Trail in southern Georgian Bay, connecting the communities of Meaford, Thornbury, Craigleith and Collingwood. This trail features three different restaurants that you can book to dine inside of igloos!

Thornbury Village Cider and Brewhouse

Thornbury Village thinks patio season should be year-round!

You can book any of their cozy, warm igloos to dine in, set up with beautiful lights so you can enjoy some pints and the patio even in the middle of the winter!

Coffin Ridge Winery

Another spot with delicious drinks food, and igloos to enjoy them in!

Coffin Ridge serves up a long list of original wines and ciders plus some yummy snacks to go along with them such as the Vintner’s Plate featuring a selection of artisan cheeses, bread, local meats and accompaniments.

Kaytoo Restaurant and Bar

This spot is located in the Blue Mountain Village, meaning the views from your igloo will be spectacular!

if you’re planning on dining in one of their igloos you won’t leave hungry. Their menu spans from butter chicken, pastas, baked salmon, burgers and much more. Spots book up quick so be sure to reserve an igloo ahead of time.
