Summer is coming to an end, and you might be looking to explore before snow covers the ground. Located southwest of Edmonton, Devon is a charming Alberta town with plenty to see, do and experience – especially if you love the outdoors.
While it has everything from a dinner theatre to a historical museum, Devon is well-known for being less than 10 minutes from the University of Alberta Botanic Garden, which has a magical butterfly sanctuary and beautiful waterfalls.
With over 3,000 flower varieties, towering trees, ponds, and lush green grass, this enchanting spot is big and perfect for a picnic, a stroll, or a special occasion.
