Here’s how to get one of 5,000 DC-themed PRESTO cards in Toronto this week

We love us some rare, collectable cards. But how about ones that you can use daily, to hop on and off the TTC? Well, Metrolinx just shared some new collectible DC-themed PRESTO card designs, and they also shared how to get one in Toronto!

This week, Fan Expo Canada kicks off at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, running from August 25 to the 28. And to celebrate, Metrolinx said it has launched a partnership with FAN EXPO Canada, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC “to create some new options for GO and FAN EXPO customers – including a specially-themed PRESTO card.”

“Lost the keys to the Batmobile? Take the GO Train instead,” it said.

The new limited-edition, DC themed PRESTO cards will be available at FAN EXPO Canada, and there are 5,000 of them that will be available. The PRESTO cards are collectable items, with designs created by four renowned DC artists: Jason Fabok, Tim Sale, Yanick Paquette and Gary Frank.

According to Metrolinx, “there are five different design options available, each representing a fan-favourite DC character. Options include Superman, Wonder Woman, The Joker and two designs featuring Batman.”

So how do you get one?

The collectable DC-themed PRESTO Cards will be available at the Metrolinx booth at the Fan Expo, from August 25 to 18. The card will set you back $35 plus tax.
