Well, butter us up and call us popcorn – it looks like, in light of Alberta’s newest reopening strategy, Cineplex has decided to reopen all movie theatres across Alberta this week.
This Thursday, June 10th, select auditoriums from Grande Prairie to Calgary will be operating at a 30% capacity with a catalogue of highly anticipated films including Disney’s Cruella, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Spirit Untamed, A Quiet Place Part II, In the Heights and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway.
Of course, various COVID protocols will be in place, but they’re nothing you’re not already used to!
In the interest of keeping guests safe, Cineplex has upped their cleaning game, closed their in-person box offices and asks that everyone arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to their showtime to allow for physical distancing in the lobby.
