First-of-its-kind Cineplex entertainment hub is opening in Mississauga & here’s what to know

Cineplex is opening a first-of-its-kind entertaining and dining complex in Mississauga, combining gaming, movies, food, music, and more all under one roof.

The Cineplex Junxion is the newest addition to the already long list of movie theatre and gaming experiences Cineplex is known to offer. The new entertainment hub is set to open this summer 2023.

Residents in Mississauga will be glad to know that the new experience will open at Erin Mills Town Centre, taking over one of the anchor tenant locations on the lower level.

Though an opening date has not been set, we do know what to expect once it does open to the public. And let’s just say it’s HUGE.

According to Erin Mills, Cineplex Junxion will feature:

New state-of-the-art cinemas, UltraAVX, and recliners where guests can have food and drinks delivered to their seats;
An open lobby for events, and performances, stage for live music, and space for outdoor screenings;
Amusement games and attractions, new and classic video and redemption games, and VR from VRstudios;
Food Hall, indoor food truck, and bar;
Fun programmings like live music, trivia nights, game nights, outdoor screenings, live TV events, and more;

And, in addition to all the excitement, SCENE members will earn points whenever they visit the Junxion, and can be redeemed for food, game credits, or the movies

We’ll keep you updated once more information is shared. This will be the second Cineplex Junxion location to open in Canada following the opening in Winnipeg last year.
