This enchanted Christmas village will make you feel like you’re at Santa’s North Pole

You’re bundled up tight as a horse-drawn wagon pulls you through an enchanted winter wonderland. Candy canes sprout from the ground. Trees are frosted with sugar and fairy lights. Holiday tunes drift from above, and if you look closely, you can see a cherry-red sled zipping between the stars…

Okay, maybe our imagination ran away with us a bit. But that’s exactly how you’ll feel when you celebrate Christmas at Heritage Park!

Calgary’s favourite historic village will be decked to the nines in holiday splendour. There will be horse-drawn wagons (we weren’t kidding about that part), Christmas music, holiday crafts, and the big man himself – Santa!

Here’s everything that’s happening this Christmas at Heritage Park. Mark your calendars and get your tickets early because it will be magical.

About Heritage Park

Heritage Park Historical Village opened its gates for the first time on July 1, 1964, and has since become one of Calgary’s most popular tourist attractions for visitors and locals alike! The site is situated on a 127-acre peninsula along the Glenmore Reservoir and features over 180 exhibits and service structures mixed between restored originals and replicas. It’s a place to connect with the past with historical exhibits, old-timey storefronts, and events for everyone to enjoy year-round.
