“From outside came the sounds of hissing steam and squeaking metal. I looked through my window and saw a train standing perfectly still in front of my house.” The Polar Express is coming to town thanks to the Chehalis Centralia Railroad, and if you’ve ever wanted to ride the train while listening to the classic story, now is your chance.
Get ready to enjoy a storybook ride to the North Pole!
It’s family-friendly fun for everyone as you listen to The Polar Express, sip cocoa, and have a visit with Santa aboard the Chehalis Centralia Railroad. You’ll experience the magic of the story for yourself as you are gifted a bell and the characters from the story come to life.

To make things even more magical, the train ride takes place on a historic 1920s train. Expect to see it decorated and you are encouraged to wear your coziest pajamas and bring your favorite blanket. Because you might as well get in character as the passenger you are on the 45-minute trip.
Riders have the option to choose between normal and premium seating. Normal seating is $60 and choose your own seat while premium seating is meant to keep groups together and ranges in price from $225-$600 depending on the number of passengers.
This event sells out every year and some rides are already sold out. As tickets are limited we highly recommend that you purchase them as soon as possible if you are interested in riding.
With that, get ready to believe!
