Calgary now has a new park with a massive outdoor skating rink, fire pits & more

Dust off your knee pads and bundle up, because Central Commons Park at the University District in Calgary is open to the public!

A 3-acre space where Calgarians can play, rest and enjoy the great outdoors, Central Commons is a year-round oasis mindfully made for social, cultural and recreational events.

Here, families, friends and love birds can wander outdoor markets, enjoy live entertainment and have picnics in the summertime – then in the winter are encouraged to skate or relax next to a fire pit!
