The first Surrey Car Free Day will take place this June & here’s what to know

Ready for some family-friendly fun, Vancouver? Car Free Day Surrey is slated to transform 137th Street into a pedestrian haven this June. Presented by TransLink, the event will feature live performances, a ton of artisan vendors & food trucks to peruse, and best of all—extended patios to enjoy what will hopefully be one gorgeous summer day!

The festival will include two stages worth of local recording artists, dancers, and entertainers for the whole family to enjoy. Some headliners include Ashleigh Ball, daysormay, Meltt, NADUH, The Jins, PEAK, and much more! Keep an eye on their website for all the deets!

In terms of commuting there, you’ll want to take transit, bike, or carpool to support the cause. Take a hoverboard if you have to — as long as you refrain from driving!

The event will start at noon and go until 8 pm.

Have a small business or craft you’d like to feature? They’re still accepting vendor applications until May 15th!
