Canadians can apply to be a ‘road trip tester’ & get paid to cruise in their dream car

On behalf of the mass majority, we think it’s safe to say that getting paid to travel is THE dream. For this reason, we’re pleased to share that this year, one lucky Canadian will have the chance to do both from behind the wheel of their favourite vehicle as part of the Discover Cars’ applicant search.

Whether you can pull apart an engine and put it back together or just really like the way that the wind feels through your hair, Discover wants you to apply, test drive and review your ideal vehicle whether that be a truck, a new-wave electric mobile, a soccer-mom van or a vintage beauty.

To apply, you must be over the age of 18, have a valid driver’s license and be able to show proof that you’re eligible – so empty out your glove box, folks. You’ve got some information to put together.

If you’re successful, the road trip car tester will relieve the car of their choice (worth $435 CAD, for a total of 3 days) and $1,015 – which can be used for everything from flights and hotels, to attractions and food – so hurry! Applications will only be accepted until 23:59 GMT on January 6th, 2022 and you won’t want to miss out.

Who knows – you could be chosen to rep Canada on the adventure of a lifetime!

For more information on how you could get paid to travel, you can visit the Discover Cars website here. Good luck and remember to choose wisely folks.
