Alberta’s own ‘Jurassic Park’ has a forest of 60 life-sized dinosaurs & it just reopened for the season

From Drumheller to the Calgary Zoo, Alberta is the ultimate place for anything and everything prehistoric!

This spring, get up close and personal with lifesized herbivores, carnivores, and fellow primitive nerds (like us) at the Jurassic Forest – a one-of-a-kind reserve of fossils, fun, and fresh air!

Located in Gibbons, Alberta, just north of Edmonton, The Jurassic Forest is unlike anything else in the province.

This 40-acre provincial playground also has a mini-golf course and 2 km of boardwalk trails, which they actually encourage you to explore via scavenger hunt.

Hang on tight: Alberta’s first & only alpine coaster is reopening this month

Of course, because playing paleontologist can get a bit tiring, they also have a Cretaceous Concession that serves a rotating selection of hot dogs, pizza, and ice cream among other summer snacks.

If for any reason, you feel like bringing your own food, that’s totally allowed too – they just asked that you clean up after yourselves!

If you’d like to hit them up (and we know that you do) you can get tickets now – and please, tag us in pictures if you go!

We really, really love dinosaurs and other people who also love dinosaurs. So enjoy!
