Well, it’s official — after many months of anticipation, Canada’s first Club Med resort is opening in Québec’s Charlevoix region this Friday, December 3rd. The resort just held its ribbon-cutting ceremony and welcomed its first guests, showcasing the gorgeous grounds and picturesque views.
Guests have access to a wide range of all-inclusive activities, including mountain biking, yoga, swimming, sports, and hiking.
All-day access to the resort’s restaurants and bars is also included, plus live entertainment shows. The cost of your stay even includes all taxes and tips.
The resort operates year-round and offers different activities for each season. In the winter, you’ll be given ski lift passes, lessons, and après ski activities.
If you’re in the mood for something a little more restorative, the resort also has a spa with views of Saint-Laurent.

Those lucky enough to experience the Club Med resort before the general public have shared some photos of the resort and its amenities, including the indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling windows, the cozy suites, and dreamy dining rooms.
Some of the other winter activities include soaking in the outdoor Nordic bath with panoramic views, sliding down a 7.5 km toboggan run, and access to Quebec sightseeing.
The restaurants you have to choose from include Le Marché, the resort’s main restaurant that serves local and international cuisine, the Le Chalet gourmet lounge, the Terroir & Co restaurant where families can prepare a shared meal together or enjoy some fondue.
There are several packages you can get depending on the length of your stay. This December, the best price for a three-night, all-inclusive stay for two adults is $1,675. But, according to the website, you can find rates as cheap as $210 per night.
