Over 140,000 summer jobs are up for grabs across Canada

How do you do, fellow kids? If you’re looking for a few bucks this summer, Canada has got options coming out the ears! The Canada Summer Jobs program has returned in full force, with over 140,000 up for grabs from coast to coast. Here’s a quick rundown.

Each year, both government-ran and private companies sign up for the program. Basically, they upload job openings into the main website, with the specific intent of hiring ‘young people’. That’s a pretty big category though, as the age range is actually between the ages of 15 to 30.

Naturally, the jobs themselves cover a ton of different fields. We barely scratched the surface, but options range from Graphic Designers to Farm Hands, Museum Interpreters to Camp Leaders… honestly, you’ll have more trouble finding something not up your alley than something you like.

Which is a good program to have, we think. So, whether you’re looking for a couple of months of steady pay, or are ready to dip your toes into a new field, we actually recommend checking out the Canada Summer Jobs program. Who knows, maybe we’ll even moonlight as SEO consultants or something…
