Hello, folks! If you didn’t catch the initial announcement, Canada has reopened its borders for international travellers as of today. Of course, it’s not a free-for-all, since there are strict requirements in place for those who wish to visit. Care for a recap? We’ve got you covered, don’t worry.
Starting today (September 7th), foreign travellers (that aren’t from the US) will be able to enter Canada without a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Our borders opened for American travellers back in August, with largely the same requirements as what’s in place now. So, let’s check that out.

Apparently, these fully vaccinated travellers present a minimal risk to Canada’s public health system, which is why the plan has gone through. Even still, flights with potential COVID exposure continue to be catalogued by the federal government.
