Birthdays are the best days and if anyone knows how to celebrate right, it’s the great North! This weekend, people all over the country will head outdoors to celebrate July 1st and like so many of them, Calgary will close out Canada Day with a stunning fireworks display at Stampede Park.

Sadly, because they’ll be setting up for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the park itself will be closed – but don’t fret. Here are just a few of the best places to watch them light the night.
