We gotta start with a classic! Once again, the City of Edmonton will be putting on a huge fireworks show from Kinsmen Park, with viewing areas throughout the River Valley.

MILL WOODS PARK CANADA DAY CELEBRATION

For something with a little more neighbourhood flair, you might want to head to Mill Woods Park! There’s an entire day of fun lined up, including children’s activities, live entertainment, food trucks, and of course, fireworks to cap things off.

CANADA DAY AT THE ALBERTA LEGISLATURE

Billed as Alberta’s largest Canada Day Party, this is a great option in the heart of the city. Things kick off with a pancake breakfast (nice), then enjoy live entertainment, ceremonial events and more. Plus, you’ll be super close to the city’s fireworks show once it ends.

ICE DISTRICT PLAZA CANADA DAY

The ICE District Plaza has become one of the top name for events and celebrations for any time of year! Their Canada Day setup will be no different, but with a more adult-oriented spin. We’re talking axe throwing, a “renowned body airbrush artist”, and patio games.

CHINATOWN CANADA DAY CELEBRATION

EDMONTON RIVERHAWKS

Ok, time for a couple of ticketed options. The Edmonton Riverhawks will be facing off against the Nanaimo Nightowls on Friday, for a little evening baseball game. The added bonus? You can stay at RE/MAX Field afterwards for some prime seats for the fireworks!
