A huge Canada Day celebration is coming to North Vancouver & here’s what to expect

We know Canada Day 2022 feels like eons away, but in reality – it’s only a mere three weeks until the holiday rolls around. The folks at Shipyards Live have been delivering all-ages fun every Friday for a while now, and they’re set to host the largest Canada Day celebration in North Vancouver this year!

What can guests expect at the festivities this year? Let’s get into it.

A face painting station for kids, an all-ages splash park, and a happy hour from noon until 3 pm at the patio beer garden – for starters. From 12 pm to 10 pm, there will be live music on the Stage at Shipbuilders Square and on a second stage at Cates Deck. Expect performers like The Shenanigans, Fully Loaded, 5 Star Motel, and more.

A Retro Video Dance Party in the Pipe Shop from 5 to 10 pm will pay homage to the Canadian dance scene of the ’90s. Not to mention, an entire lane of food trucks will be on-site all-day long to satisfy any craving that may come up.

Since Canada Day falls on a Friday this year, the proverbial stage is set for the ultimate summer long weekend! The vibes definitely check out.
