Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2023 were just announced & here’s the full list

The annual Canada’s Best Diversity Employers list is out, highlighting and giving props to employers across the country with “exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs.” We’ve got the full list for you, keep on reading.

Now more than ever, Canadian employers are pushing for more diversity in their workforce and workplaces – regardless of sexual orientation, background, and more.

To compile the list, organizers of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, recognized a variety of programs for employees from five groups: Women;  Members of visible minorities; Persons with disabilities; Indigenous peoples; and LGBTQ+ peoples.

“As a society, we talk a lot about why these things are important, but the more honestly we can speak about issues like equity, reconciliation and anti-racism, the more we’ll be able to address them,” said Kristina Leung, managing editor at Mediacorp.

According to the list, several of these employers have even improved their programs and over all efforts after reaching out to the community and its organizations for some first-hand knowledge on diversity.

“At the end of the day, the objective of all these programs is to find room at the table for all Canadians,” said Leung.

Employers benefit and the country moves forward when we are honest with each other so we can make changes that achieve meaningful outcomes.”
