Global tech company opens new hub in Calgary & aims to hire for 1,000 jobs by 2024

Whether you’re looking for something new or are just entering the field, you might be in luck! Infosys, a world-renowned tech company, has just opened a brand new hub in Calgary and are looking to hire upwards of 1,000 by 2024.

Described as a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, the India-based company (which was named one of the greatest places to work in Canada this year), announced the inauguration of its Digital Centre at Golf Canada Square in a press release this morning.

The hope is that this new location helps them work closely with clients here in Alberta while also giving them a space to train, upskill and reskill employees all over Canada – and you could be a part of it!

“Today is the beginning of our next chapter in Canada as we open the Infosys Digital Centre in Calgary,” said Ravi Kumar, President of Infosys.

“We chose to open in Calgary because it is a center of tech excellence with rich IT talent and a strategic location that enables us to scale work with clients across key industries, such as energy, natural resources and agriculture. Calgary’s IT innovation potential is unlimited, and we are delighted to be a part of its future.”

For more information about the company or to apply as work becomes available, you can visit their website here.

As of right now, there are only a few jobs (such as associate and analyst positions) listed, but that’s expected to change within the coming months, so keep an eye out!

You never know, this could be the beginning of something amazing.
