Holiday lights: Canada’s largest drone show is lighting up Vancouver skies next month (VIDEO)

If you enjoy a good holiday light installation or two every season, we’ve got one that will definitely shake things up this year. Canada’s largest drone show will light up Vancouver skies this December. The total number of drones? Over 300. All forming festive holiday scenes in a 10-minute synchronized show for the books.

Below is just a taste of what this year’s show could look like.

Author’s Note: The drone show on Friday, December 2nd was cancelled last minute, but the show on December 3rd is still as scheduled as of 10 am on Saturday, December 3rd.

Bright Skies will be powered by Best Buy to celebrate the opening weekend of this year’s Christmas at Canada Place. And while the show itself will only take place across two evenings, visitors to Canada Place can still enjoy Best Buy’s Insta-worthy light installations (Avenue of Trees and Woodward’s Windows) all month long, until January 2nd.

According to a release, the drone show will be visible “from the vicinity of Canada Place, including railings on the west side or at the north end of the building.”
