The Edmonton Valley Zoo is hosting Halloween festivities with trick-or-treat stops

Boo at the Zoo, presented by North Central Co-Op, is back! For two weekends in October, you can explore the not-so-scary Halloween-themed festivities at the Edmonton Valley Zoo.

This beloved annual Halloween event transforms the zoo you know and love into a spooktacular destination. It’s family-friendly, but you don’t need to be a kid to have a great time!

What to expect

The event is Halloween-themed, but there’s no scares here. Explore the not-so-spooky festivities complete with magical guest characters and, of course, the animals!

Collect candy at trick-or-treat stops throughout the zoo and visit your favourite furry (or scaley) friends. They’ll be enjoying nutritious treats of their own, so please, don’t pass along any candy.

It’s a great way to enjoy the zoo, visit with the animals, and learn more about how you can support conservation efforts.

Timed tickets for Boo at the Zoo are only available online (not at the gate) at movelearnplay. Tickets go on sale two weeks in advance of the select event date.

Get your costumes and prepare to trick-or-treat alongside your favourite zoo animals. This event is open to all ages, so bring the kids (or your inner child) and have an amazing time!
