There’s a mountain coaster in Ontario with gorgeous views of the Niagara Escarpment

Adventure seekers, I’m talkin’ to you. If you love hitting the slopes at Blue Mountain during the winter, you’re going to love this for the summer. The Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster is an epic ride that takes you to speeds of up to 42 km per hour as you take in views of the beautiful Niagara Escarpment.

I will warn you, I’ve taken a ride on the Ridge Runner before, and it’s a little speedier than you may anticipate, but so much fun.

The attraction at Blue Mountain Resort is open in the summer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, and noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

One of the coolest parts of visiting the Ridge Runner is that your ticket is actually a “full access” ticket, giving you unlimited access to all open attractions and activities that day.

Here are some of the things you can utilize with the pass:

  • Cascase Putting Course
  • Lumber Lanes Climbing Centre
  • Plunge Aquatic Centre
  • Blue Mountain Private Beach (opens in July)
  • High Ropes
  • Wind Rider Zipline
  • Hiking trails
  • Open-Air Gondola

Full access day passes start at $41 for children 12 and under, or $49 for those 13 and older, Monday through Friday. Weekend passes cost $57 for children 12 and under, or $74 for anyone 13 and older.

This summer, we’re adventuring, Ontario.
