Blink 182’s Travis Barker ran & biked along the Stanley Park seawall before Vancouver concert

Known for their mesh of pop, punk, and rock, Blink-182 is still one of the biggest names in the game. And for drummer & percussionist Travis Barker, prepping for a show is serious work.

On Tuesday, June 27th, Barker shared photos of his ‘warm-up’ for Blink-182’s show at Rogers Arena that same evening. And by ‘warm-up,’ we mean a rather speedy 5k run – clocking in at 25 minutes.

The drummer and actor captured his run along Vancouver’s seawall at Stanley Park, which started near Avison Way and ended near Prospect Point, according to Apple Maps, and his Instagram story.

The drummer also shared a video clip of him and his manager Kevin Wolff (Ceremony Music Group) taking some Mobi bikes for a spin along what looks like the remainder of the seawall back to the park’s entrance.

And if that’s not enough reassurance that Travis Barker was indeed out and about in Vancouver, a photo of a Translink bus also made it to his Instagram story!

So there you have it, Vancouver. Love them or not, there’s no denying Blink-182’s impact on the music scene over the years. And while we certainly can’t take credit for the band’s exciting performance last night, we’d like to think that Vancouver’s natural beauty had its own impact.
