Calgary comes to life in July and with so many shows and movies in the area filming right now, it’s no surprise that we’d see familiar faces out and about enjoying major events like The Calgary Stampede!
From The Last Of Us to Under the Banner of Heaven, several projects and their casts have taken to the area, but few have posted about their adventures as often as those who star in Billy The Kid.

Described as an “epic romantic adventure” based on the true story of the real-life gunslinger, thief and cowboy, BTK is streaming now on Paramount+ and features incredible wardrobes, sets and performances.
Among them, is also Sean Owen Roberts (Brand New Cherry Flavour) who took to his Instagram this weekend to share a photo of the cast having some fun in between takes.
“Calgary Stampede with some of the best!” the actor who plays deputy Bob Olinger, wrote alongside the image.
As we mentioned, of course, this is not the first time they’ve been spotted checking out the city – or even a Stampede, for that matter.
Earlier this month, Tom Blyth (Robin Hood) who plays Billy the Kid, Daniel Webber (The Dirt), and Roberts were also pictured at the Ponoka Stampede which happens just outside of Red Deer so keep an eye out, Alberta!
You never know who you’ll see over the next few weeks or years, for that matter.
As long as Alberta continues to attract studios and execs, there’s always a good chance you’ll see something exciting when you’re least expecting it!
Enjoy and continue to be kind. We’ve got a good thing going.
