You can now buy official Betty White merch to support the BC SPCA

Here’s a great double-whammy to show your love for both an animal-loving icon and BC animals themselves! Last week, the BC SPCA released a new line of merch featuring Betty White, and of course, it’s to help take care of animals across the province.

With permission from Betty White’s estate, the BC SPCA has got a new line of clothing for sale. The t-shirts and other apparel feature both images of the late actress and animal lover, plus the classic “Thank You For Being A Friend” line from one of White’s most well-known projects, Golden Girls.

The new line of merch was inspired by Betty White Challenge, which took place on January 17th (and would have been White’s 100th birthday). Calling on people to donate to their local animal shelters and other non-profit animal organizations, the challenge managed to raise over $12M through social media, and the BC SPCA saw more than $400,000 in donations as well!

Naturally, all proceeds from the limited-edition merch will go straight to the BC SPCA. So, whether you need a new shirt for your next trip to the dog park, or maybe even want to buy a piece for that special, animal-loving someone for Valentine’s Day, keep this in mind!
